iPhone X: I Wouldn't Buy It Even If I Had 4 Kidneys

Disclaimer: Before I get ahead with the article, I'd similar to state that I am writing this on my MacBook Air and I am using an iPhone 7 as my daily driver. I am not against Apple tree or its products, equally I have been a long time fan and user of Apple products, but I am genuinely disappointed by iPhone X.

iPhone 10, a smartphone with so many flaws getting positive reviews from every big publication on the Internet seems to exist a well planned marketing strategy (to me at-least), and not honest at all.

We have had the iPhone X with us for nigh a week now, and while everyone else in the function is liking the telephone, my opinions tend to differ by yards! The reason why anybody is liking the iPhone X is because their opinions have already been impacted by all the first impression videos most the iPhone X that they've seen on the Internet by the so chosen tech reviewers who spent only a few hours (or less) with the phone.

The Verge specifically mentioned in their video that Apple has given them the phone on just one condition, which was, to post the get-go video within 24 hours or less after they were handed the phone. I hateful, seriously?

Let me put it in perspective.. Allow'southward say I am Apple Inc. I am giving y'all an iPhone 10 to review for free.. and ask you to postal service a video on information technology before the launch.. what would keep in your heed?

Consciously or Subconsciously, you already are positive about Apple every bit a company because.. you know they're so prissy to have given you their nigh expensive iPhone ever, that besides before the launch, and that as well for free.

Initially, I bought Apple tree's statement but when I saw iPhone X. I felt cheated.

Well, to your surprise, iPhone 10 is the thickest flagship phone I've seen this year. It still has no headphone jack. And if you want to charge your phone while listening to the music with the help of Lightning earphones that are there in the box, you'll yet need Belkin's adaptor that Apple sells on its shop. Awesome, isn't it?

ii. Camera Bump

I remember everyone talking well-nigh the camera bump Apple had last yr. And this yr, they take an fifty-fifty bigger camera bump in the iPhone X, which looks plain ugly. They could have stock-still it this year, because iPhone 10 is thicker and information technology shouldn't take been a problem to dig the cameras a trivial inside the body. I don't know the technicalities but I am sure this could accept been possible.

3. Glass Back

People are going crazy over Animojis. Sure, they are fun just they shouldn't be the highlight characteristic of iPhone X. Moreover, they're going to be a passing fad, nothing more than that.

To me, Animojis are like 'Fidget Spinners'. They'll make the noise on the Internet but they'll lose their charm over time. And after a couple of months (or weeks), no ane is going to talk about them. I can swear by this!

5. Design and feel of the iPhone X

From the dorsum, it's cute and fragile and from the front it's having a top notch brandish with gesture based navigation. Sounds awesome, isn't it? Well, really no!

Since I accept been using iPhone 7 for almost an year now, I can ostend that some of the iPhone X gestures are plain bad. For instance, I can kill apps on my iPhone 7 quite easily. Information technology simply requires two continuous taps on the home button, after which I can swipe abroad to impale apps . But with iPhone Ten, y'all'll need one gesture followed by a long press to be able to call up about killing apps. Honestly, information technology does seem like a well idea gesture to me.

Secondly, I can't fifty-fifty see the battery pct on the summit. I usually keep my phone on battery saving mode to ensure practiced battery performance and keep a track of the battery left but at present, if i demand to see that, i'll have to use a gesture.

I would have certainly accepted these gestures, if they helped me fire calories and make me fit, but they don't! Plus, the key combos for taking screenshots and powering off the phone are now very un-intuitive.

I can go on with this.. simply I've got other things to do, and same is the case with you guys, right?

To put an end to this, I'd merely say I am hugely disappointed past Apple tree as a company, with the choice of products they cull to ship to their customers, and at a price they want us to pay, merely the day is not far when people won't take it anymore. The reason Apple is such a wealthy company is considering their base is and then strong. They've done some commendable things for people in the by which is why their wrongdoings from the last couple of years is still not affecting their customer base and so much, but if they proceed on repeating the same for a few more years, it's gonna turn into a big problem.

I promise things change, and I promise I proceeds my love back for Apple products once again.
